Trust/Kill Pride formed 3 years ago out of the ashes
of another local band, Swollen. Swollen featured DRaiN-O on drums, Pyro on vocals, Moke on guitar, and Redeye on bass.
Redeye left the band, to be replaced by Hoover. Shortly after that, the band broke up entirely, reforming as a Hardcore band
known as Trust/Kill Pride featuring DRaiN-O on the drums, Redeye on the bass, and Moke on guitar. Shortly after his departure
from Tribal Homicide, Pyro returned to his roots and brought together the original line-up of Trust/Kill Pride. Mark joined
the band as a lead guitarist. They recorded their first full length album, The Hour Of Judgement, in the summer of 2004. Not
long afterwards, Mark left due to tensions between him and the other members. For the same reasons, Moke split as well. DRaiN-O,
Pyro, and Redeye began rebuilding Trust/Kill Pride in 2005, adding Snake to their line-up as lead guitarist. After several
gigs in and around Charlotte, Redeye left the band for good due to personal reasons, but is still close friends with all of
the members. Trust/Kill Pride acquired Reverend S. from the experimental rock band Vaudeville and The Bass Player,
a Yankee transplant living in the South, in August of 2005. The band began to move in a different direction and
the music morphed into something that can only be described as uncompromising Death Metal. For this reason, Snake left the
band to pursue a different style: Southern Rock. The band is tighter than it has ever been and is preparing for their Summer
East Coast Tour and the release of their second full-length album, which has generated a lot of excitement within the TKP
camp.
